FAQ's: Community Builder Questions

When you are in your "Manage Communities Section", you will see a list of Communities you own and Communities you belong to. You can edit Communities you own. Click on the “Documents” button and click on “Add New Document”. Upload your document and save it. You also have the option to create folder types and assign documents to a specific folder.

Content for each sub-Community you manage can be viewed by clicking on their Community name under “Managed Communities” in the Community box in your Community. Clicking on a sub-Community will populate the community page with that Community’s content and information.

No. Your Community or sub-Community is hosted on Corlinc’s platform with your own domain URL (communityname.corlinc.com). If you have an existing website, we recommend that you provide a link to your Community on your website, in order to enhance your member or customer experience.

If you just created a Community and can't remember its URL, you can sign in again using the email address and password you registered with. If you do not remember the password, click on “Forgot Password”. Once logged in, click on "Manage Communities" and click on the “Name & URL” button under the Page Info tab.

Yes, you can Unpublish your Community and/or a sub-Community and its content at any time; just login, go to "Manage Communities", select the Community, and click on “Unpublish”. The site will no longer be publically visible.

Absolutely! You can create as many Communities and sub-Communities as you need.

Yes. Remember, sub-Communities benefit by being a part of your Community network. Therefore, the value of their association within your Community might be worth more than the cost of a store. You may elect to pay the monthly subscription fee for any sub-Community yourself and privately increase the monthly fee for being a part of your Community”. Corlinc does not currently offer a built-in method for you to do this.
